If you’re here looking for a bedtime story to help you sleep at night, we recommend looking away because this is going to be the exact opposite of that. You know how when you were young and you heard all the lovely stories about the cutest characters? We’re going to need you to let go of that image for the rest of this article because we’re about to talk about the upcoming slasher movie, Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey, and believe us when we tell you this, you are not ready for what is about to come your way. Here’s a little warning for anyone who can’t handle slasher movies, because Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey will be a classic slasher movie and we will be discussing all the details regarding this movie.
Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey, directed by Rhys Waterfield is coming to life because as of 2022, Disney no longer has the rights to Winnie-the-Pooh, and is now a public domain, which means, anyone can do anything they want this character, and that’s exactly what Waterfield is doing. He has wasted no time in turning Winne-the-Pooh from a lovable bear to a killer with no mercy. While this might be a little haunting for some viewers, and there are bound to be mixed feelings about this, one can’t help but be curious about it. This is where we step in to tell you everything you need to know about Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey, from its plot to its cast to its release date and more:

What Is The Plot of Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey?
The plot of Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey is actually quite straightforward, and we don’t want to spoil too much of the movie for you, so we will try to be as brief as possible. Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey revolves around some serious abandonment issues that Pooh Bear and Piglet harbor after Christopher Robin leaves them to go to college. What are they meant to do when they can’t fend for themselves? It seems like their best option was to return to their animalistic tendencies and kill. Kill anyone and everything, and that it could also mean Christopher and his fiancé Mary, who return to 100 Acre Woods because Christopher is keen on introducing Mary to his childhood friends.
Not just that, a group of girls decide to rent a cabin in the woods right around the same time, and we all know how that ends. Pooh Bear and Piglet are on a murderous rampage and we highly doubt they’re going to spare anyone, even their childhood best friend, Christopher Robin.
The Cast of Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey
Before we discuss the cast of Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey, it is important to note that Rhys Waterfield is an indie filmmaker, and this movie will be his directorial debut, so you won’t see a lot of A-list actors, which isn’t new for slasher movies if we’re being completely honest. Slasher movies are a niche in the horror genre, and while they have a huge following, the majority of them haven’t been grouped with classic Hollywood movies. Nevertheless, let’s walk you through the cast of Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey, which includes some up-and-coming talent, along with some seasoned horror movie actors and actresses.
The not-so-beloved and very terrifying Winne-the-Pooh will be played by Craig David Dowsett, who has only just started his career in 2022, but as per sources and his performance, he seems like a promising and passionate actor, and hopefully his role in Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey will be more than enough to kickstart his career. Joining Dowsett, we have Chris Cordell, who will be playing the role of Piglet, and together, both these actors are going to conquer your nightmares this year! Of course, we cannot forget the role of Christopher Robin who plays the role of the catalyst in their descent to madness, and he will be played by Nikolai Leon. This is Leon and Waterfield’s second collaboration, so it will be interesting to see how that pans out. Playing the role of Christopher Robin’s fiancé, we have Paul Coiz.
To round up the cast of Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey, we have Natasha Rose Mills, Amber Doig-Thorne, Natasha Tosini, Maria Taylor, and Danielle Ronald, who will play the scream queens, and are definitely not ready to be hunted down.

You can watch Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey in theatres on the 15th of February next month in the US, however, it will only be available to watch for one day. The other countries it will release on the big screen are the United Kingdom, Canada, and Mexico. As of now, there is no news on when or where it will be available to screen worldwide, however, if you are in any of the other countries, we recommend booking the tickets as soon as possible, although we don’t recommend taking your significant other to go see Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey as a Valentine’s Day present, even though the timing is impeccable.
